With the rainy season still on, what better way to celebrate than to plant 200 indigenous trees at Kaya Muhaka for World Environment Day!
Managed to get everyone out of the office which wasn’t too difficult…even the boss…
Several hundred well matured trees brought in from the WWF office and several hundred holes dug by our gappers, local school children, residents of Diani and the Kaya Muhaka Forest Group…
We had hands belonging to children as young at five and others belonging to women and men in their seventies!
200 trees planted by 200 tree huggers! Happy World Environment Day…
